It is common knowledge on the island that the most beautiful beaches require a little work to reach! Located beside a beautiful white sand beach on the remote west coast of Ataúro, this eco-accommodation is one you will surely never want to leave. Run by Mario, well-known in Timor-Leste for his early work in promoting tourism and creating the tara bandu marine protected areas around the island, this simple guest house has delicious food, fresh coconuts, and hammocks. What more could you need? Rooms range from simple thatched huts to larger rooms with shared bathrooms. Rooms are equipped with lights and mosquito nets. Access is by chartered boat, walking or hiking from Beloi (three hours). Guided hiking treks and boat trips can be organized and snorkel gear is available for rent. Spend your afternoon in our open-air space with a hammock, enjoy beautiful sunsets, and swim out along the incredible reef wall drop-off which you can only see on the west coast of Ataúro.
