Aquatica Dive Resort is a PADI 5-Star dive resort located in Dili, Timor-Leste. Aquatica is an Australian-owned and run business established in 2013. Owners Desmond and Jennifer, along with their team of dedicated hardworking staff will help to look after you as you explore the natural beauty of Timor-Leste.
Timor-Leste probably has some of the best shore diving in the world, entries are so easy and within 10 meters from shore and there’s a 20 meter drop-off. Tourism infrastructure here is still at its infancy. There are no crowds at the dive sites so imagine having the whole dive site to yourself.
There are more than 30 dive sites to choose from and many more yet to be explored and discovered. All in all, if you are after some off-the-beaten-path diving, looking for an adventure or even finding a new diving destination, Timor-Leste is the place to go.
At Aquatica Dive Resort, we are always eager to introduce you to the underwater world ; we want you to feel 100% comfortable in the water whether you’re a beginner or intermediate. We limit our class sizes to a maximum of 4 students – because we do not want to overcrowd the class so we can pay more attention to each and every student, courses are frequently run with 1 or 2 students. This also means that courses will run according to your progress, and so we can be as flexible as you need us to be. We have a dedicated instructor team that are committed to provide the best in tuition as well as experience to our students.
Aquatica Dive Resort offers sleek and modern rooms for accommodation in Dili with many amenities not typically available in Ataúro such as AC, cable TV, showers, and a refrigerator. If you prefer to not give up these kinds of comforts, staying in Dili and taking day trips to dive around Ataúro may be a better option for you.
